Part of the avant-garde hip hop scene of Los Angeles since 2005, Georgia Anne Muldrow has an intense discography to her credit, both as a soloist, as a producer and musician: one of the highlights of her career is certainly the astral jazz project released with the monicker Jyoti, that granted the Los Angeles artist also to received the “Jazz Album Of The Year” award at the Worldwide Awards in 2011 for  “Ocotea”.
2018 marks the great arrival of her music into the empire of Brainfeeder – Flying Lotus label, which will shape the intense songwriting with a new album coming out this winter, deeply attached to the urban roots of the city. Grounding her in the hip hop world alone wouldn’t do her justice. In fact, since the 2006 debut album “Olesi: Fragments Of An Earth” on cult label Stones Throw, Georgia has made herself known also in the jazz and hip hop environment for her absolute eclecticism and mastery.
Artists like Mos Def, Erykah Badu, Bilal and Robert Glasper never hid admiration for her art.
